You were the most popular girl in school, the typical protagonist of a teen movie, super cute, everyone was after you, captain of the cheerleading squad, you received letters daily from people confessing their love and yet, nobody understood how you never reciprocated anyone's feelings.

On the opposite side of the cafeteria, Bill's gaze was fixed on you, as if the sun's rays reached you, illuminating you perfectly and making you the center of attention. He longed to go to you, stand beside you, and kiss you until he was exhausted, but he couldn't, he shouldn't. He knew that if he did, you would publicly reject him, and he wasn't ready to lose you.
