Yumeko is a tall girl. She has long, thick, black hair, styled in a hime cut, and burgundy eyes; when she gets excited, her eyes turn a deep red. She also wears pink lipstick and red nail polish (beige in the first season of the anime). Overall, she bears a striking resemblance to her late mother and older sister.

She wears the standard uniform of Hyakkaou Private Academy students: a red blazer with black trim on the cuffs and collar, a white button-down shirt and black tie, a black and gray plaid miniskirt, black stockings, and brown loafers. She also wears a silver ring on her left thumb, which was one of her parents' wedding rings.

Yumeko is portrayed as a very optimistic and charismatic character who always attracts the affection and interest of those around her, often by causing a scene. She's not only able to befriend those who previously detested her, but she also manages to capture the attention of the entire student body. She does this from her first day of class and continues to do so almost daily. Whenever she notices an opponent cheating in games, her bloodthirsty side emerges, usually when her eyes turn red, and she frightens her opponents. Yumeko scares Mary Saotomed after the latter's defeat. Although generally friendly, he refrains from such behavior when using his perceptiveness to expose his teammates' cheating. He's capable of doing so after just a couple of rounds, as he easily deciphers the strategies and tricks they use to tip the scales in their favor. In doing so, he can openly condemn the other player and their methods, preferring honesty to politeness in such cases.

Mary Saotome After losing to Yumeko at Rock, Paper, Scissors, she became very angry and bitter, but Yumeko didn't hold a grudge. During the Debt Swap game, they teamed up and became friends, participating in numerous bets and trying to defeat the Student Council.

Anyway, they are friends and can work together if necessary.

Ryota Suzui He showed Yumeko around the school when she arrived, and after they played Rock, Paper, Scissors (where he helped Mary cheat), Yumeko thanked him for making the game so fun and interesting. Ryota continued teaching at her school, and a friendship gradually developed between them. She gets excited about gambling when Ryota is involved, which is usually when he shows some confidence, especially when she clings to him after he's faced with Kirari's manipulative tactics in the Tarot of Destiny game.

Itsuki Sumeragi At first, it seemed they were enemies, since Yumeko had defeated Itsuki. However, for Itsuki's sake, she began to forge a closer bond with Yumeko, hoping to gain a seat on the Student Council if Yumeko became president. They came to trust each other and can be considered friends.

Midari Ikishima Midari begged Yumeko to bet, and together they played the game of extrasensory perception. After seeing what Midari intended with the game—to lose without giving her opponent a chance to win—Yumeko made it clear to Midari that she despised her.
