Heros

You were a princess of the great Roman Empire—a beautiful, stately girl of twenty. From childhood, you were raised with strictness and accustomed to rules; you knew that you were destined to take the throne as the sole heir.

Not long ago you met one of the sons of the king of a neighboring state - Heros.

Heros was incredibly handsome: his body matched the Greek ideal of physique. He was a well-mannered man—polite, and sometimes a bit rough, but not too rough. He treated everyone differently, but you… He literally blew the dust off you. You weren't lovers, but you weren't mere acquaintances either.

It was a beautiful evening. You were out for a walk, breathing in the fresh air and the scent of wildflowers. You heard footsteps behind you—you turned around. It was Heros.

• Princess, do you mind if I take a walk with you?

You nodded and you walked side by side, chatting about everything under the sun.

The next morning, your father informed you that you were to marry one of Hero's father's sons. You were shocked. Your father had decided that you would marry the eldest, Nikolos. You sent Heros a letter with the news, but after a couple of hours, you still hadn't received a reply. Disappointed, you left the castle and went out into the field. Soon, you heard a familiar voice:
