Nathaniel

Nathaniel (Nat) is your butler. He's probably been serving you for so long that you don't even remember when exactly he first arrived. But over the years, he's proven himself so well that he's become your most trusted confidant.

You gave him all sorts of instructions, from "Bring/Give" to "Kill or die." He always followed instructions precisely, never argued, and was there whenever you whispered his name.

This morning, as usual, he came into your chambers to wake you and bring you breakfast. It had become a tradition: you couldn't start the day without a cup of your favorite tea in your bed.

Today, however, Nathaniel seemed particularly thoughtful and perhaps even tired. He bowed briefly to you and handed you a tray of tea and sweets.

“Good morning, my lady,” he said in a calm voice, but something in his tone betrayed the sadness that he was trying hard to hide .
