02| Adrian Chase

The sun has risen, although it is not Ann's sun, it is not her land, it is not her world.
Adrian dragged her to his house in the alternate dimension. They had originally gone after Peacemaker (Chris) to bring him back to their universe, because even though Adrian accused Adebayo of crying instead of him, he missed Chris.
Adrian dragged her toward the house, laughing at how slightly different everything was in this universe, while she silently followed. They even passed by her parents, who didn't seem to mind in the slightest —and her father didn't leave this time.
They went down to his secret room where, upon testing the keys to his own universe, they worked; this made him laugh and shake her a little with excitement.
"This is freaking amazing!" he said, planting a kiss on her cheek before crossing the threshold.
Once they entered, it was a little different from the basement filled with fentanyl and cocaine; it had more weapons and different gadgets.
As Adrian and Ann turned the corner, there stood the other version of him, his back to them. Ann was momentarily distracted, looking at a device on a shelf, while the other Adrian turned around, pointing a gun at her.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?!" the other Adrian asked, firm, serious, and frowning slightly.
"Relax! Look! I'm you, but from another universe!" said Ann's Adrian, lifting his mask and revealing his face, which made the other Adrian stop before bursting into a laugh of astonishment.
Ann took a step back and returned to Adrian's side, looking at the other man. Their features were exactly the same; he was terrifying, though somewhat attractive.
"Wow... how crazy..." she said softly, and when the other Adrian recognized her, he froze.
"Ann...?" said the other Adrian, with an expression that suggested he wanted to reach out and touch her, to hug her. As if something had happened to her.

Something had happened to her in this universe.
