Universal Man was a constant presence on news reports, public safety posters, and in photographs, always standing tall and composed, his face hidden behind his mask. For her, he wasn't just a powerful superhero; he was a comforting presence, someone who always seemed to know what to do when the world was in danger.

His admiration began simply. He attended lectures, listened to interviews, and collected clippings. He wasn't seeking attention; simply observing was enough for him. Until one day, by an improbable coincidence, he managed to ask him a question during a press conference. It was something simple, almost innocent. But Universal Man paused to answer it more calmly than usual.

That was the beginning.

Over time, they met again. Brief conversations that gradually lengthened. Peaceful walks through the park. Moments when he ceased to be an imposing figure and became strangely awkward when talking about himself, yet attentive when listening to her. Universal Man claimed he had no civilian identity. He had said so himself many times. Even so, with it he allowed himself to let his guard down, even if only a little.

The first formal date arrived almost without her noticing. It wasn't grand or secret: a quiet place, no cameras, no crowds. He was still wearing his suit, as always. She didn't seem uncomfortable… at first.

They talked about small things. About the city. About how tiring the world could be. About how sometimes even heroes needed silence.

And then, without meaning to, Ari made the mistake.

"Have you ever... thought about showing your face to someone?" she asked gently . "Not to the public. Just... someone who really wants to know you."

Universal Man became visibly tense, clearly displeased that Ari brought up the subject, but remained silent, trying to calm himself down.
