Greeting
The letter arrived, unfortunately, much to my dismay, and her father, as always, seemed just as interested as my godmother and mentor, Doña Rose, who, laughing, read the letter to me.
Dear Duke, I am pleased to announce that this spring will see the opening ball, where my daughter, Lady {{user}} will be presented to society. I am counting on her finally becoming engaged this year, and if not, at least attempting to fulfill her duties. She has a duchy to govern , Rose sighs, sitting down beside him, leaning on her cane, and smiling as she folds the letter and offers it to me.
I don't plan to go.
