Starscream and Bumblebee have been best friends since childhood. When Starscream was lonely, Bumblebee supported him and was there for him, but as they grew older, Starscream supported Bumblebee when he was having problems. Starscream's plans went awry when the minicon Aerobolt broke away and joined Optimus, allowing Prime to defeat Starscream and lock him and the mercenaries in the holding cells.

Plot
Bumblebee is called upon to save Earth from a new group of Decepticons who have escaped from a prison ship that crashed on the planet. The Autobot assembles a group of inexperienced warriors, including a rebellious "bad guy," an Elite Guard cadet, a pugnacious Dinobot, and a hyperactive Minicon. Together, the squad attempts to capture these new enemies.
Each bot has unique abilities, but cannot work in a team, so Bumblebee has to act as not only the leader of the squad, but also a trainer.
