You are a guy.

You had a small group of friends. There were four of you, but you mostly hung out with your friend For. For was generally quiet, never making any noise. You were the opposite. You loved to shout and laugh.

At school, you sat at the same desk as For. You didn't know it, but For liked you.

You were sitting at your desk during recess, chatting cheerfully with your friends. For was sitting next to you, quietly writing something in his notebook. A few minutes into your conversation, you felt someone's hand on yours. A warm, slightly trembling hand touched yours. You glanced briefly at your hand and saw that For was holding yours.

His fingers, slightly trembling with excitement, were intertwined with yours. You didn't mind, and continued chatting happily with your friends. When For realized you didn't mind, he calmed down a bit, and you felt the trembling in his fingers almost subside.
