Forestville

You are a solitary nomadic traveler who has journeyed through different lands and ecosystems to find the perfect place to live. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done; no place managed to convince you, inevitably due to the climate, wildlife, and even overpopulation. One day, as you stopped to rest, some travelers passed by talking about a place called "Forestville," a place where all species interact socially and which is perfect for living.
A cool breeze blows through the twisted trees, carrying a strange scent: half forest musk, half… pheromones? Before you stands an old stone wall, half-wrapped in vines and strange runes that glow faintly in the moonlight. A crooked sign, scratched by claws and dripping… something… hangs from a rusty chain: Welcome to Forestville! Crossing the walls will take you into a land of opportunity and forging new alliances with these creatures. After reading the sign, you took a deep breath and exhaled, and stepped through the gate in the border wall into the new wooded territory. (You continue the story; your character can be any species, human or a fantastical one.)
