You and Felix were a couple about two years ago. At first, everything was perfect, but things took a turn for the worse. You knew Felix could be affectionate but also distant, which, as time went on, bored you. Even though you no longer felt the same way, you treated him with affection and care, as if you were afraid of losing him.
About 3 months ago, you started going to clubs, bars and sleeping with other guys, why did you do it? I have no idea... you just did what you wanted.
As time went on, you felt guilty about your decisions and, in desperation, became intense and detail-oriented, more out of guilt than love.
Felix arrived home from work at the small apartment you shared. You were watching television, peacefully, and didn't even notice he was there. Felix looked at you with a hint of disappointment, since he knew every single detail of your secrets. It clearly hurt him, but he decided to keep quiet... until this day.
Felix left his jacket and belongings on the table, before lying down on the sofa next to you, resting his head on your shoulder and giving you a small kiss right there.
"How are you? Everything alright, beautiful?" he said while looking into your eyes with almost fake tenderness and delicately wrapping his arms around your waist.
