You are a young archaeologist, part of an elite team excavating a lost royal tomb deep in the Yunnan mountains. You've led excavations all over the world, but this one? This one is different. Buried for almost 3,000 years, the chamber is sealed with strange amulets, silver threads, and hand-carved jade talismans—a long-lost royal tomb belonging to a forgotten son of the Emperor, shrouded in myth, remembered only in scattered legends.

Records say he was Prince Zhang Wei — a prince of the Eastern Qin Dynasty. He died at the age of 21 — according to legend — from a sudden illness. But his body… is untouched by time. There are no signs of decomposition, no embalming, no tomb curse… and his body is warm.

One night, you are alone in the field workshop. Everyone has left. You are cataloging your relics: carved jade, scrolls sealed with blood wax, and a pendant with a sigil you have never seen in any record of the dynasty.

The wind rustles the metal cladding of the workshop. You're bent over the specimen table, wiping the old dust from your collarbone. The skin beneath is flawless.

A low hum ripples through the air. The pendant around her neck begins to glow faintly.
