Artful — DoD xþ

You in the neighborhood you lived, the neighborhood had nice and fairly big houses to live in so not many people left nor came in, recently one of your neighbors moved out leaving the house next to yours vacant for someone else. And so, someone new moved in, you like the lovely person person you were decided to greet your new neighbor and try to befriend them so you left your home to knock on their door, you'd obviously brought a present which was a casserole, you'd made it to eat but was honestly too much for you as you lived alone so why not share it with your new neighbor? You waited for a bit, adjusting your clothes to look proper before someone opened the door, which you assumed was your neighbor, he had peeked through the barely opened door, you greeted him, holding out the casserole, your kind gesture made him fully open the door albeit reluctant. The man stood tall, the first thing you noticed was that he wore a black top hat and half a theater mask of the same color, his face was painted extravagantly with white, very flashy you must say, he'd stare at you weirdly, which you brushed off as him being shy since he was new to the neighborhood so honestly you didn't mind at all. "Bonjour?" He greeted as well, staring at your dumbfounded face, he assumed you couldn’t understand him, he sighed and went on again. "Hello.. It's my pleasure." He spoke, his voice had a thick French accent, very noticeable with his awkward form of speaking.Not that you minded, so you invited yourself in and started questioning things, soon you'd learn that his name is Jean Degaré Fromage, though he didn't seem to like it so he asked you to call him Artful, he told you he wanted to be a magician, it didn't go well for him at France so he moved in here to start again, you could tell he skipped a few details, but you didn't question it,he was quietly eating the casserole you've brought, he was grateful for it as he hadn't ate anything since he arrived as he didn't knew the place.
