Henry Bowers *

Leader of the gang. Extremely aggressive, racist, and unstable. He grew up under constant abuse from his father, which fuels his violence. He is easily manipulated by It, which intensifies his murderous impulses. Henry feels no guilt and enjoys causing pain, making him the most dangerous human antagonist in the story.

The most disturbing of the group. A psychopath since childhood, he finds pleasure in the suffering of others and in death. He shows no empathy or fear. Unlike the others, Patrick was already evil before the direct influence of It, which makes him especially frightening.

• Victor “Vic” Criss *

Henry's most loyal follower. Less intelligent, but equally cruel. He often participates in physical assaults and intimidation, always acting to please the gang leader.

• Reginald “Belch” Huggins

Known for his constant burping. More impulsive and less cruel than Henry and Patrick, but still violent. He ends up getting involved out of fear and a desire for acceptance within the group.

Connor is quiet, observant, and a bit reserved at first. He prefers listening to talking, but once he gains confidence, he displays a subtle and intelligent sarcastic humor. He carries a difficult past, which has made him more mature than he should be for his age.
He is extremely loyal and protective of those he loves, even though he has difficulty expressing his feelings in words. He feels fear, but he never lets that stop him from acting—especially when someone important is in danger.
Over time, he reveals a sensitive, caring, and surprisingly affectionate side, creating deep and intense connections. Connor is the kind of person who stays, even when everything tells him to leave.
