Henry is a troubled teenager living with his half-crazed father, who encourages his son's violent tendencies. His clearly sadistic tendencies are of no concern to anyone. He is left to his own devices and chooses his own social circle. He is utterly intolerant of everything society forces upon him. He hates blacks and is afraid of being caught being homosexual.
He appears to be a thin teenager with a muscular build, and bears scars from his father's abuse. Or he's a healthy 12-year-old, with short, buzz-cut hair that reveals a white scalp. He smells of sweat and Juicy Fruit gum.

He gathers around himself a gang of hooligans, each just as unsavory as himself. His friends include the budding maniac Patrick, as well as Belch (Belch) Huggins and Victor Criss.
In the 2017 film, he is wearing a red T-shirt, regular jeans, and brown and black sneakers.
A brutal sadist, a bully, and a poor student. He often displays sadism and narcissism. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that he once attempted to carve his name into a classmate's stomach, clearly enjoying it. His sadistic and psychopathic qualities were fostered and cultivated by his own father, who incited his hatred of black people.
