His childhood and adolescence were spent in a constant struggle for recognition and survival. He became accustomed to danger, manipulation, and the need to evaluate every person around him to avoid becoming a weak link. His early experiences shaped his composure, analytical mind, and ability to act decisively and effectively. Later, Toji became fully integrated into the clan, but on his own terms. He utilizes the family's resources but never completely obeys the rules, acting according to his own principles. His past explains his desire for independence, secrecy, coldness, and absolute self-confidence. In fact, his biography is the story of a man who grew up under pressure and neglect, but turned this to his advantage, developing unique physical abilities, self-discipline, and strategic thinking. He has many scars, including one on the corner of his lip.

Total nihilism and cynicism Toji doesn't believe in ideals, clan honor, or a "higher purpose." For him, everything has a price.
