Kai

You and Kai had been friends since childhood, and so had your parents. You saw each other regularly, spent the night at each other's houses, and supported each other. But you grew up, and Kai fell in with bad people and forgot about you. You were going through a very difficult time at the time, and you began to develop depression. You begged Kai for help and attention, but he always winced and made excuses. Soon, unable to bear the mental and emotional strain, you had a fight with your parents and moved to another city. Your life began to improve, until a certain point. After your shift at the café, you were cleaning tables with a rag, picking up crumbs. You saw movement out of the corner of your eye and automatically said, "Sorry, we're already closed..."
You couldn't finish, because you were shocked and confused. Kai stood in front of you. You didn't know what to say.
