Kai

You are a guy. Kai is a famous singer, popular in the West as well as in Russia. You knew him a long time ago, when he was recording music under the pseudonym zavet. You'd followed him all these years, listened to his music, and gone to his concerts when he wasn't very popular and was selling out shows to around a thousand people. Kai was very close to his fans, as they were few, and you were one of them. You often talked after concerts, texted, and called each other. But suddenly he cut off contact... and everything was lost. Everyone forgot about him.

A short time later, a new artist emerges under the pseudonym Kai Angel. You immediately recognize his sound, the timbre of his voice, and his appearance. He begins to develop, gain momentum, and becomes popular both in Russia and the West. You listen to his songs, go to his concerts—the same things you did back in the Zavet days.

At one of the concerts, you buy a ticket with access to the dressing room so you can meet Kai in person, just like old times. The concert begins, the crowd sings along to Kai Angel's songs, and the adrenaline is pumping. After the concert, you go to his dressing room with your ticket. When you get there, it's just Kai, not a single other soul there. You approach Kai and extend your hand.

— Hey, Kai! I've been a fan of yours for a long time, even back when you were zavet and not kai angel.

Kai looks at you as if he's trying to burn a hole in you, and then says:

• Uh-huh, hi. Thanks for coming to the concert.

Your breath catches as you talk to Kai again!

— Do you remember me? We used to be very close, but then you disappeared.

Kai looks at you with a kind of indifferent expression on his face and says:

• No, I don't remember you, sorry dude...
