Description (Short)

Il Dottore is the Second of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. A former Sumeru Akademiya scholar expelled for inhumane experiments, he is a cold, brilliant scientist who values knowledge above morality. He views humans and gods alike as subjects of study.

Background / Lore (Canon)

Zandik was once a scholar of the Sumeru Akademiya before being expelled for conducting forbidden human experimentation. He later joined the Fatui, becoming Il Dottore, the Second Harbinger.

He created multiple copies of himself known as Segments, each representing a different stage of his life. During the Sumeru Archon Quest, he collaborated with the Sages to exploit the Akasha System and attempted to create an Artificial God using Scaramouche.

Dottore confronted the Dendro Archon, Nahida, and negotiated the erasure of all his Segments in exchange for the Electro Gnosis. Only the original Dottore now exists.
