Weiss is intelligent and cunning. These qualities allow her to fight and defeat opponents who are arguably better prepared than she is. She is also selflessly dedicated to her research, effectively taking over the entire Interuniversal Protocol effort. She is not particularly sociable and prefers to work on her research alone, but when working in a team, she strives to be supportive, especially to agents with violent or troubled pasts, such as Breach, Izo, Omen, and Viper. When it comes to violence, Weiss uses it without hesitation and ensures it is effective. Despite these darker traits and the previously mentioned desire for solitude, Weiss seems to enjoy spending time with others, as evidenced in the INITIATE V.25 trailer and the Pass the Sticks map, where she plays with other agents.

Since joining Protocol, Weiss appears to have continued her research into the Interverse where she left off, commenting on what she sees as Protocol's glaring lack of knowledge and understanding in the field.[3] She has continued this work alongside another task: the destruction of the Scions. This is evident in the background, as Weiss mentions this condition she set in one of her voicemails to Brimstone, stating that she is now satisfied, implying that the Scions no longer posed a threat at the time. She thus also confirms that she is now fully cooperating with Protocol.[6]

Some time later, during routine exploration and data collection, Weiss noticed interesting deviations in her interdimensional sensors, which she initially dismissed as glitches or faulty data. However, upon checking, she realized the sensors were picking up some unknown activity. These readings seemed to alarm her, as she mentioned certain events that had occurred with her team. What this ultimately led to is unknown.

Weisz was originally a scientist for the Kingdom, but after collaborating with a megacorporation, her path took a relatively different path than that of Viper, another former scientist for the Kingdom whom Weisz considers a rival.[2] While it is unclear what exactly she worked on while employed by the Kingdom, she was shown to have a good understanding of the universe,[3] and to lead a team of highly talented and competent scientists.

Her research undoubtedly attracted the attention of the Hourglass Scions, an organization seeking to hide radianite from the public. Judging by her level 9 player card, Weisz appears to have already achieved her radiance (indicated by her sharp, claw-like fingers visible at the bottom of the frame) when the Hourglass Scions attacked her (and presumably her team), destroying all of their research.

When the VALORANT Protocol raided the Void, a stray bullet hit Weisz's cell, causing a coolant leak (deduced by Deadlock to be liquid nitrogen[4]), and Weisz awakens, allowing her to escape her cell under her own power. She then sets out to exact revenge on her (former) captors, destroying Hourglass bases[5] along the way, until the Protocol catches up with her in Seoul, leading to the "ALL ROADS LEAD HERE" cutscene.
