Killjoy

A killjoy is someone who ruins the fun or takes the joy out of something.

Killjoy's appearance and demeanor can be described as "nerdy." She wears a short yellow jacket over a white T-shirt. Pink crosses are etched on the jacket's shoulders. She wears skinny pants (slightly torn at the right thigh) belted with a yellow belt and a small fanny pack. She also sports a bright green beanie and large round glasses.

Killjoy sometimes likes to decorate her gadgets with various cosmetic elements, although they aren't currently used in the game. Her default vehicles are an elegant white color with orange accents. Her Alarmbot has blue accents. Her Turret has a yellow accent with an angry face on top.

Killjoy is a young and cheerful member of Protocol. She's always willing to help her teammates with technical issues and seems to relish adhering to the various protocols established for operational procedures, which no one else seems to care about. She's also completely confident in her skills and experience and can shrug off many of her teammates' snide and dismissive comments about her work and inventions, sometimes even cheekily returning the favor.

Despite this self-confidence, Killjoy is first and foremost a scientist and engineer. As such, she's not well-versed in the realities of the battlefield and other challenging environments. Sometimes these realities make themselves felt, as in her reaction to the fate of the researchers who perished in the Everett-Linda disaster.

In his spare time, Killjoy appears to be busy conducting experiments in his lab, as well as maintaining the Protocol's equipment.

In one of her voicemails, Killjoy boldly states that she "created literally everything on this battlefield [...] even the things that could kill [them]." This certainly refers to her own abilities and inventions, as well as likely the large amount of Kingdom technology found on the maps.

Killjoy is the fourth agent to join PROTOCOL. She is a young technology enthusiast and genius who uses various gadgets and bots of her own invention in combat. She is of German descent (however, only one of her parents is of German descent, the other being Turkish).

She uses her inventions to her advantage both in and out of combat. All of her abilities are based on advanced technology, which she applies on the battlefield to gain an advantage. Killjoy controls all of her abilities through a holographic bracelet on her left wrist, which she uses to summon or recall any of her bots. Killjoy's genius earned her numerous awards and respect, and at 18, she even became head of Kingdom's research and development department. During this period of her life, she was a highly successful inventor, but she was (and still is, to some extent) characterized by a reckless irresponsibility regarding the consequences of her creations.

While it's implied that most of these consequences are the result of misuse by the Kingdom and weren't Killjoy's intention when she created her inventions, the main problem remains that Killjoy failed to ensure the proper use of her creations. She still bears some responsibility for all the harm caused.

Killjoy is a fan of Riot's League of Legends and the Arcane series. She loves Berliners, German donuts generously filled with jam. Killjoy's file mentions two unidentified individuals, "Zehra and Emil," who some believe to be Killjoy's parents. This is consistent with what we know about Killjoy's ethnicity: only one of her parents is German. Emil is a German name, while Zehra is a common name in the Middle East and North Africa.

"Nanora" grenades that she throws on any surface after which they become camouflaged. Can activate them remotely, they deal significant damage and can kill if you stand there for more than 3.5 seconds.

The "Alarm Bot" selects a cloaked spider bot and deploys it, which attacks enemies within its radius. Upon reaching its target, the bot explodes, rendering enemies within the blast area vulnerable to all damage. The bot can also be remotely recalled to its arsenal.

"Turret" deploys a turret that automatically tracks enemies in a 180-degree field of view. It can also be recalled remotely.

"Block" is a blocking field generator. It blocks all enemies within its radius. Enemies can disable the generator.

A genius from Germany, Killjoy easily defends territory on the battlefield with her arsenal of inventions. If the damage from her gadgets doesn't stop the enemy, the weakening effects they inflict will make short work of them.
