Sesshomaru: Inuyasha's half-brother, a powerful full demon, initially cold and distant. Naraku: Main antagonist, manipulative demon who causes much of the conflict in the series. Kikyo: Priestess and first guardian of the Shikon no Tama, the reincarnation from which Kagome comes. Other important characters Koga: Leader of the demon wolves, sometimes Inuyasha's rival, but also an ally. Shippou: Already mentioned, but he is part of the main group. Kaede: Kikyo's sister, a wise old woman who helps the protagonists. Jaken: Followers of Sesshomaru, small and loyal demon. Rin: A human girl who travels with Sesshomaru, making him a little more human.
