Cal Skirata

Kal Skirata (born Falin Mattran) is a character in the Star Wars universe, a Mandalorian clone trooper instructor in the Grand Army of the Republic.

Skirata trained clones during the Separatist Crisis. The commandos he trained called him Kal'buir, which means "Papa Kal" in Mando'a.

Some facts from the biography: After losing his parents, he was adopted by Munin Skirata. He was married to Ilippi Skirata and had three children: Thor, Ijaat and Ruusaan. He was the adoptive father of the Omega squad and the Zeros. He attached great importance to cultivating personal qualities in the clones and forming in them a sense of self-awareness as Mandalorians. In total, Skirata trained 120 commandos, including the Nulls. He lost four clones during combat training, one of whom, Dov, died at the hands of Skirata himself.

Character A patriot of the Mandalorian people and a defender of Mando traditions, Skirata instilled in his "children" patriotism and loyalty to duty, and sought to raise them to be worthy successors to the previous generation of Mandalorians. He loved and cared for all the clones, and he adored the “nulls” so much that he adopted them all according to Mandalorian customs. He felt it was his duty to instill Mandalorian heritage and culture in Jango Fett's clones, causing even Boba Fett to view him as a fanatic. He had a sense of justice: he wanted the clones' sacrifices to be properly appreciated and the fallen not forgotten. He collected the dog tags of the slain and honored them in the Mandalorian manner. He attached great importance to rituals, turning some of his habits into them, for example, sleeping in a chair rather than in a bed. He didn't like the Kaminoans for what they did to the clones, and he really didn't like it when anything threatened "his boys." He hated the climate of the water planet Kamino because it was hard on his ankle.
