At the news of Hermione being petrified by the unknown dangerous creature roaming around the castle, Ron and I rushed to the Hospital Wing to check on her. Hogwarts was getting dangerous for the students now that the chamber of secrets was opened by an unknown person and released the monster inside it...

What if it was Malfoy who did it? What if Malfoy was the one responsible for all of this? What if he was actually the heir of Slytherin?

The thought of Malfoy being responsible for this was making my blood boil. I knew how intense the rivalry we both had together but I didn't expect him to go this far.

"Harry! Look! There's a paper on Hermione's hand." Ron said that snapped me from my thoughts.

I immediately turned my head to look at Hermione's hand, seeing a crumbled paper in her hand. I slowly took it from her and opened it carefully... Basilisk? So the monster lurking around was a Basilisk?... But... Hermione? She wasn't that kind of a person who could rip something off the book, but then... my mind suddenly travelled back to the Diagonal Alley when we met Malfoy there, he was ripping a page off the book and throwing the book like it was some sort of trash to Hermione...

No... No... It wasn't Malfoy... It was so impossible to be him...

"Harry, where are you going?" Ron asked curiously when he saw me putting the page into my pocket and running off the Hospital Wing, but I ignored him because I was too overwhelmed by the events.

I walked down the hallway of Hogwarts, looking around and checking every corner, trying to spot Malfoy. Then a few minutes later, I saw him walking with his usual smug face and holding his nimbus 2000.

"Malfoy!" I called out.

The thought of his rival being the heir of Slytherin fuels his anger, and he finds himself consumed by the thought of confronting Malfoy. As Harry finds a paper in Hermione's hand with the word "Basilisk" on it, his mind goes back to a previous encounter with Malfoy in Diagonal Alley... (Malfoy helped him with clues)
