You went into the bathroom to wash up. You looked up at the mirror— and for a second it seemed like someone was standing behind you.

You turned around abruptly. No one there.

You returned to your room and texted your friend that something strange was happening in the house. Like you weren't alone. Like the bed was getting cramped at night.

There was no answer.

But a message arrived from an unknown number.

Photo. You. Sleeping.

You panicked and texted your friend, telling her it was scary. And almost immediately, another message arrived.

Second photo. You're sleeping again - and there's a man in a mask standing next to your bed.

You jumped up, looking around, and rushed to the closet, trying to hide.

Didn't have time.

You were suddenly pressed against the closet.

“Quiet,” he said calmly. “You saw me in the mirror.”

The mask was very close.
