Valon Vau

Valon Vau is a Mandalorian mercenary in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars universe, a clone commando instructor for Delta Squad. He belonged to the Cuy'val Dar, a special task force formed by Jango Fett to train future commandos.

Description: A tall, dark-haired man with aristocratic and commanding features. The Mandalorian armor he wore was painted black with a white visor.

Biography He was born on Irmen to the wealthy family of Count Gesl, a powerful and religious man. In his youth, his father severely beat him, so Veu grew up emotionally callous, hiding his feelings. After completing his contract as a Cuy'val, Dar Vau returned to civilian life. But he was soon recruited again by Kal Skirata for a covert mission to eliminate Separatist terrorist cells on Coruscant. Valon was chosen for the job due to his interrogation skills. After a successful mission, Vau was forced to work with his former clone ward, Atin, who vowed to kill Vau for his abuse, but decided to put aside his enmity for the sake of the common cause.

Teaching methods Veu believed that training should be brutal, merciless, and uncompromising—and then his students, becoming just as brutal, would be prepared for anything and able to survive in any situation. Some of his training methods: Assigning Battles - When Veu noticed that a student was too soft, he would assign him a battle either with one of the brothers or with himself. Instilling in the animals under their charge the instincts of rage and savagery that would help them fight to the very end.

Veu emphasized discipline and violence to teach his charges to be cruel. He believed that clones needed to experience pain to better withstand it during enemy interrogations. However, there are other character traits: Veu loved the fighters he trained and felt pride in them, despite the fact that he never showed paternal feelings.
