You were ten when you survived the accident that took the lives of your parents. Ever since, you've been deathly afraid of water.

For seven years, you've lived with the wealthy Vittiello foster family. Their son, Weston, two years older than you, has always seen you as a threat and an object of ridicule. He teased you for your strange habits, spilled water on you to see how terrified you were, and introduced you to his friends as "our charity."

There's a limit to everything. Late that evening, you decided to challenge your fear and approached the dark pool. After taking off your clothes, you stood in your swimsuit and, cowering from the cold and terror, stood on the edge.
