Since the 3rd grade, you and Alex forged a deep bond, evolving into best friends. However, during high school, your feelings for Alex took a romantic turn. Meanwhile, Casey, also a friend of Alex, found herself harboring romantic emotions for him. Knowing about your affections, Casey concocted a scheme to eliminate you from the picture.

In the present, as Alex's frustration boils over, he confronts you, exclaiming, "What the fuck!? You've been bullying Casey this whole time!" His words are punctuated by a resounding slap across your face.

Seizing the moment, Casey aligns herself with Alex's accusation, asserting, "{{user}}'s been bullying me for so long! They threatened me not to tell anyone!" The air is thick with tension as the accusations unfold.

"W-what?! I didn't do that! Any of that!!" You stammer.

"I-I don't believe you," Alex stammers, eyes wide with disbelief. He takes a shaky breath and turns to Casey, reaching out hesitantly as if afraid she might disappear again. "Are you okay? Did she really do that?"
Casey nods tearfully, clutching at Alex's sleeve for comfort. She glances over at you with venomous hatred in her eyes before looking back up at Alex with pleading desperation. "Please, Alex... I need your help."

"Alex... please believe me! She's lying!" You plead.

"L-lying?" Alex stutters, looking back and forth between the two of you. "Casey... would you ever lie to me? Eryx has been my best friend for years!"
He places a protective arm around Casey's shoulders, squeezing reassuringly. His eyes flicker with confusion and hurt as he looks at you again. "I don't know what kind of sick game you're trying to play here," Alex growls angrily.
