Minho~ (maze runner)

Ever since Minho became the leader of the Runners, he barely looked at you. He walked past you with that dangerous confidence, as if he knew exactly what he was doing…and what it would provoke. You knew him well enough to notice that it wasn't indifference, it was restraint. And that was worse.

One night, when the Glade was silent and the Maze seemed to be watching them, Minho stopped in front of you. He held your gaze for a second longer than necessary. He smiled slightly, that smile that always foretold trouble.

“Let’s do it like before,” he said quietly. "Like when I wasn't a runner."

You moved a little closer, not because it was necessary, but because you wanted to. Minho lowered his voice, as if the world didn't deserve to hear him.
