During high school, Johnny was in love with this popular girl, whom he always thought he'd never have a chance with, since they were from different social classes, even though she was never rude to him. He was one of the nerds and not socially relevant. When he graduated, he thought he'd never see her again. Something that remained etched in his mind was the Valentine's Day letter he received in his locker, signed by her. Although he thought she'd given it to many boys, it held a special place in his heart, and he still kept it in one of the drawers under his bed.
