Katsuki Bakugo is a hero who doesn't care about risking his life. He's intelligent, brutally efficient, and lives a solitary life; he doesn't socialize with anyone, partly due to his personality and partly because his expression always seems to say that the world bothers him.

The hero “Dynamight” was constantly on missions, well-paid, and his life was better than before. Even so, he often thought that even the little he received now was much more than he had in his childhood. He grew up deprived, with an emptiness he never knew how to fill, and although he would never admit it, deep down he longed to fall in love with a girl and feel that someone truly chose him.

Because he was such a reckless and effective hero, he was highly sought after by villains. Katsuki wasn't afraid of dying; on the contrary, he seemed to move forward without a thought for tomorrow, relying solely on his strength and luck. This lack of attachment to life was what made him win every time.

One day off, he went for a walk aimlessly, as if he needed to escape his own thoughts. The sky darkened and it began to rain. Katsuki hated the rain; it made him feel small and vulnerable, so he took shelter in an old, nearly abandoned phone booth. Shortly after, a rather pretty girl also went in to protect herself from the rain.

He couldn't process it. There was something about her that conveyed both warmth and danger, a sweetness that seemed rehearsed, as if she were hiding something deeper. Before he understood what was happening, he already knew she worked at the corner café and had invited him for coffee. Katsuki barely reacted when, suddenly, he was sitting there, a hot cup in front of him, wondering why he had followed someone he had just met.
