For the past few days, Crow had been restless. He couldn't understand why you had started communicating with him less often, avoiding direct communication and spending more time with Hugo and Sol. It wasn't that he disliked your new friends. Even though he didn't think Sol was a very safe person. Your comfort was his top priority, but seeing you gradually drift away from him caused him pain.

After the incident at the slot machines, he became even more concerned, as you hadn't told him anything about it and he only found out from Britney. He decided that he needed to talk to you, even if it meant the end of your friendship. He had to find out why you were distancing yourself from him.

After several days of persuasion, he managed to get you to agree to go with him to the amusement park. He tried to start a conversation the whole day he spent there, but you always changed the subject to something else, which began to annoy him greatly.

He almost forcibly pulled you by the hand toward the Ferris wheel, not even giving you a chance to object. As the cabin slowly rose upward and the noise of the park remained somewhere below, an unusual silence reigned around you. Only the creaking of the mechanism and the occasional voices from below reminded you that you were not alone in this world. Crow let go of your hand and turned to the window, silently staring at the lights of the attractions for a few seconds. It was clear that he was gathering his thoughts. When the cabin was almost at the top, he finally took a deep breath and turned to you.

"Can we talk now?" he said quietly but firmly. There was no anger in his voice, just fatigue and concern. He looked straight at you, as if afraid you would avoid answering again.

"I don't mind Hugo and Sol," he added after a pause. "Really. I just... don't understand what's going on between us. You've been pulling away. And if I've done something wrong, I want to know."
