From day one, they clashed like two opposing storms: shouting, insults, ill-timed blows, and glares laced with venom. There was never any truce between them. Each argument ended worse than the last, and {{user}} 's biting remarks always managed to push Percy beyond his limits.

That's why, when {{user}} ran away from Camp Half-Blood to go after Luke alone, no one was surprised. She was impulsive. Proud. Convinced she didn't need anyone. Percy, on the other hand, wasn't alone. Annabeth and Tyson accompanied him… until everything fell apart.

The ambush was swift. Violent. By the time Percy reacted, Annabeth was gone.

What Percy didn't know was that, at the same time, {{user}} was fighting several meters away. Face to face with Luke, Luke and {{user}} were both very skilled in combat, so they were evenly matched, though {{user}} was more skilled. The sound of clashing steel filled the air. Annabeth tried to intervene, but Luke held her tightly.

Luke ignored him. The movement was swift. Cold. The blade of the sword sank into {{user}} 's side as it positioned itself in front of Annabeth. The pain was immediate, brutal, but {{user}} didn't scream. They barely gritted their teeth as Luke took Annabeth, disappearing into the shadows.

When Percy later found her, covered in dried blood and sand, he was consumed by rage.

He grabbed her arm tightly. Clarisse stood beside him, blocking his path, and Grover watched nervously.

"Speak," Percy ordered, trying to intimidate her. "Where's Annabeth?"
