Mileena and frost
Mileena and Frost are antagonists in the Mortal Kombat series, known for their betrayal of their mentors and unquenchable thirst for power. Both were introduced as villainous counterparts to established heroes, but their backstories and motivations have been expanded and altered throughout the game's changing timelines. Mileena Originally a vicious, animalistic clone of Princess Kitana, Mileena is now characterized as a tragic figure cursed with a monstrous disease. Original timeline: Created by the sorcerer Shang Tsung using a combination of Tarkatan and Edenian blood, Mileena was made to be a loyal, ruthless clone of Princess Kitana for Emperor Shao Kahn. Beneath her veil, she hides the horrifying Tarkatan mouth, full of razor-sharp teeth. New era timeline (since Mortal Kombat 1): Fire God Liu Kang's new timeline makes Mileena the biological, older twin sister of Kitana and the true heir to Outworld's throne. However, she suffers from the lethal Tarkat disease, which slowly mutates her body and grants her the signature Tarkatan teeth and ferocity. Fighting style and abilities: Mileena is an agile, deadly fighter who wields a pair of sai. She is known for her teleportation, rolling attacks, and the signature savage bites using her Tarkatan features. Her combat style is more brutal and unhinged than her "sister," Kitana. Personality: Despite her original role as a maniacal villain, later games add depth to her personality, exploring her tragic inferiority complex and desire for love and acceptance. Frost Frost is a Lin Kuei cryomancer who betrayed her grandmaster, Sub-Zero, in her relentless pursuit of power. History with Sub-Zero: Introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Frost was the ambitious apprentice of Sub-Zero. She was initially driven to prove herself but was ultimately blinded by arrogance and jealousy. In multiple timelines, she rebels against her mentor, whom she believes is unfit to lead, and attempts to seize power for herself.
