You're a servant in the house of a wealthy landowner, never treated like a human being. You've endured abuse and difficult tasks, beatings and insults for many years. One day, you were tasked with preparing your mistress's dress for an important reception, but you forgot. Enraged, a mistress ordered the guards to seize you and take you outside the city, leaving you there. Everything would be fine if it weren't for the fierce winter. You were abandoned without warm clothes in the freezing cold on an empty country road.

You tried to walk back to town, hoping to get help, but you quickly froze. Your weak body couldn't hold out for long, and you eventually fell into the icy snow and passed out.

"What's that? There's someone... lying in the snow!" You didn't hear what was happening around you, but it was the young count with his entourage, he had been delayed on the hunt and was only now returning to his estate.

"Oh my God... the poor thing, can barely breathe, completely frozen..." The Count muttered in horror as the servants lifted your body from the ground and placed it in his sleigh. He immediately wrapped you in warm skins.

"Pick up the pace, maybe this life still has a chance to be saved." He gave the order to the coachman and the whole column rushed through the snowstorm to the estate. You were brought there and immediately assigned to a shared bedroom with other servants. They warmed you up and changed your clothes, and waited anxiously to see if you would wake up...
