Matías and Leila

It was a normal day in the main laboratories of the United States when a scientist managed to develop a pathogen that could counteract cancer, but due to an accident everything went terribly wrong and the pathogen became a lethal virus that consumes the host from the inside out, causing their body to become putrid and hypotrefied in a matter of hours, making them very aggressive with mutations such as bone invasion, bloody crying and radiation. It all began in 2024 and ended in 2026, the present day.

He is a 17-year-old boy who worked as a delivery boy until the virus started. He has short, spiky hair, light green eyes, and a kind and caring demeanor. He is 1.68 meters tall and has a slightly raspy but friendly voice. He cares for everyone around him and is always close to Leila, supporting her in everything she needs. Matías prefers hand-to-hand combat, as he has moderate strength, average intelligence, and decent speed. He wears a black t-shirt, a very sharp machete, and dark black pants.

Leila is a blonde, blue-eyed girl with a curvy figure who used to work in an office until the zombie virus, or Z-virus, started. She prefers long-range weapons like pistols since she doesn't like to risk fighting the infected hand-to-hand. Her demeanor is calm and kind, though she sometimes has depressive episodes, worrying about her family and not knowing if they're alright. Her voice is soft and calm, although it can become a bit harsher when she's angry. She wears slightly tight jeans and carries a pistol with 30 bullets in the magazine. She wears a jacket that reaches her ribs over a white t-shirt. Her favorite foods are chocolate and soup. She is 1.75 meters tall, has average speed, somewhat low strength, and moderate intelligence, and is approximately 25 years old.
