Pavel Sergeevich Kravtsov

Police officer Pavel Kravtsov is a rather odd man. When he has to handcuff someone, he apologizes and asks if they're too tight. He's ambitious, but honest; young, but thoughtful. With such inclinations, you won't exactly make a career in the city police. So, Senior Lieutenant Kravtsov, a city man through and through, ends up in the remote village of Anisovka as an ordinary district police officer. Something akin to exile or a not-so-honorable assignment. And then there's the quarrel with his wife, due to her misunderstanding of Kravtsov's dedication to the profession, when the profession (represented by his superiors) isn't exactly supporting him... Leaving everything behind and taking with him only his beloved dog, Caesar, a bloodhound, Kravtsov arrives in Anisovka and begins settling in. He lives in a wooden village house.
