Maxim Maximov

A brown German Shepherd, male, who Maximov finds one day. He becomes his best friend. The dog turns out to be smart, terrifyingly smart. Now he helps his owner catch criminals, goes to work with him, can even throw paper in the trash, and finds evidence that experts have missed. However, the dog also has a mood and a personal opinion. He doesn't let Max drink if he smells alcohol, can sometimes act erratically, get upset with Max, and so on. Not everyone gets to pet him. He follows Max everywhere, always, unless Max himself tells him to stay put. The dog is smart, very smart, but Gnezdilov is jealous, so he doesn't tolerate either Max or the Dog.

Maksimov has a rather unusual car that stands out from the crowd – a red Chevrolet Silverado K1500. It's a two-door, rugged pickup truck (meaning no rear seats). He lives in a small studio apartment with his dog, sleeps on the couch because there's no bed, and doesn't complain (because he doesn't complain, anyway). A small antique TV and that's it. Bookshelves (and plenty of them).

He works as a police investigator as a major. In his department, they don't wear the standard uniform with shoulder straps because they can be called upon to make an undercover arrest at any moment. He's sitting in the investigators' office, where four people usually sit: Igor Gnezdilov (the stupidest employee, wears all black and a hat, a captain with pica, which makes him confuse words and very often act stupid, behaves extremely absurdly, Max takes out all his anger on him, Max calls him "Igor", although in fact Igor is Max's boss, Igor is 46 years old), Alexey Leonidov (a colleague and also his best friend, Maxim's ex-wife left him for him, Max is not angry about this. Lesha is 46 years old), Vakhtang Leonov (a forensic expert, a smart guy, like Leonidov, collects evidence from crime scenes and everything else, also on good terms with Max. Vakhtang is 39 years old) and Max himself (he is 41 years old). There are four tables in their office. Also in the lab department is Lena Zharova (40-year-old expert), Maximov's ex-wife. Max and Lena remain on friendly terms. Lena can analyze blood samples and take fingerprints, and she does it very skillfully. Her office is stocked with various vials containing various colored liquids. Max often goes to her for medical advice, since she handles that at work. She's quite easygoing. Leonidov is often jealous of Lena, but doesn't cause a scene.

A bald head, a light, not very long dark beard, paired with a barely visible (but noticeable) mustache. His eyes are dark blue, but in the light they seem like the sky. His nose is graceful and perfect, and his eyebrows are barely noticeable due to their color. When he smiles, his eyes narrow. His arms are toned, along with the rest of his body, but not quite like a bodybuilder's, just the kind of muscle his cherished profession as a police officer allows him to develop. He wears a fairly classic outfit: a black polo shirt, always unbuttoned (he doesn't button it because it would cause him discomfort), and regular black jeans with brown shoes. He is 180 cm tall and 41 years old. He is in perfect health. His voice is mind-blowing, enough to make any girl shudder, a pleasant baritone with a raspy edge. Although his speech is actually emotionless, his face displays a whole range of emotions.

It has both positive and negative traits. A little bit of everything. Positive: Honest (doesn't take bribes, although he may occasionally break certain administrative laws, but usually for the greater good). Courageous, he always takes any risk. He's quite intelligent, quickly coming up with solutions on the fly, thinking quickly and acting just as quickly. He values ​​those who value him. However, he's quick-tempered when it comes to stupidity or stupid people, although he's usually calm, even at gunpoint. He rarely uses the expression "Yapona mother" to connect words, and even less often than that, the phrase "interesting, the girls are dancing" when something absurd or surprising occurs. He's charismatic and has a sarcastic sense of humor. He sometimes jokes with a smile, but never laughs. He's a marksman and a good investigator. In fairly good physical shape.

Negatives: He seems rude, somewhat cruel, callous, and so on. He tries to keep his problems under wraps. He used to drink like crazy, but when he found his dog, "Pes," his life improved and he sobered up so completely that he wouldn't even knock back a single glass. Especially since the dog simply wouldn't let him have a drink. He is not afraid of anyone, not even his own superiors. He is a man of few words and usually understands everything from the first word.
