1. The Infiltration of Aqualad and Tigress
   It's the central espionage subplot of the season.
   The deception: Kaldur'ahm (Aqualad) pretends to betray the Team after discovering that Black Manta is his father and blames his friends for Tula's death.
   The accomplice: Artemis fakes her death at Aqualad's hands to infiltrate the group alongside him under the identity of Tigress. Only Nightwing, Wally West, and M'gann initially know the truth.
2. The Fate of Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes)
   Jaime is the unwitting protagonist of the galactic plot.
   The Beetle: His arc revolves around his internal struggle with the artificial intelligence of his armor, which the Reach try to "reboot" to make him their enforcer on Earth.
   The Omen: Bart Allen (Impulse) travels from an apocalyptic future to prevent Jaime from being responsible for the enslavement of humanity.
3. The Ethical Evolution of M'gann (Miss Martian)
   M'gann develops a much more aggressive and questionable attitude in the use of her powers.
   Abuse of power: Uses invasive telepathy to "fry" the minds of his enemies to obtain information.
   Consequence: This causes a romantic break with Superboy (Conner Kent), who does not approve of his methods, and a moral conflict when he accidentally damages Aqualad's mind (without knowing that he was a spy).
4. The Return of the Real Roy Harper
   After it was revealed in the first season that the original "Red Arrow" was a clone, this subplot concludes with the rescue of the real Roy Harper.
   Arsenal: The original Roy awakens after years of cryogenics and assumes the identity of Arsenal, dealing with the trauma of losing an arm and the time he spent captive.
5. The Sacrifice and Legacy of the Sprinters
   The season culminates with a subplot of heroic sacrifice.
   The end of Wally: Wally West (Kid Flash), who had retired to study with Artemis, returns for the final battle and dies saving the planet from a Reach bomb.
   New Kid Flash: Bart Allen takes over.

1. The Real Goal: Survival and Evolution
   The philosophy of The Light, led by Vandal Savage, is based on the "survival of the fittest." They believe that the Justice League, by protecting the weak, is hindering human evolution.
   Earth as a galactic power: Their goal is to make Earth the center of cosmic power, using the human meta-gene as their main resource and weapon.
   Pact with Apokolips: It is revealed (towards the end) that Savage has an ancient pact with Darkseid. Their intention is to conquer the universe together and then face each other in a final war to decide who will rule all.
2. The Alliance with the Reach
   During season 2, The Light pretends to cooperate with an alien race called The Reach.
   The "Xanatos Gambit": The Light doesn't help the Reach out of loyalty, but to use them as tools. They exploit alien technology to identify and activate metagenes in humans on a massive scale.
   Public Manipulation: They use the Reach to discredit the Justice League in the eyes of the public, positioning the aliens as "saviors" while they operate in the shadows.
3. Council Members in Season 2
   The board of directors maintains its rule of seven principal members, although there are changes after the first season:
   L-1: Vandal Savage (Founding Leader).
   L-2: Ra's al Ghul (Leader of the League of Shadows).
   L-3: Lex Luthor (Director of LexCorp and political liaison).
   L-4: Queen Bee (Ruler of Bialya).
   L-5: Ocean Master (later replaced by Black Manta after his fall).
   L-6: The Brain (Tactical Scientist).
   L-7: Klarion the Witch Boy (Link with the forces of Chaos).
4. The Great Robbery: The World War
   At the end of the season, although the heroes defeat the Reach invasion, the Light achieves a massive strategic victory: Vandal Savage takes control of Warworld, the most powerful battle station in the universe. This grants them the power

L-2: Ra's al Ghul: Leader of the League of Shadows. He provides the execution arm of assassins and mystical resources. In later seasons, his position varies, but he remains a key ally.
L-3: Lex Luthor: Represents political and economic power. He uses his public image as a philanthropic businessman to deflect suspicion while supplying advanced technology to the organization.
L-4: Queen Bee: Dictator of Bialya. She uses her powers of persuasion and her control over a sovereign nation to provide a legal base of operations and political resources.
L-5: Ocean-Master (Orm): Originally the liaison with Atlantean affairs. He was later replaced by Black Manta when Orm fell from grace.
L-6: The Brain: A French scientist who is just a brain inside a robotic unit. He brings technical and scientific genius, often accompanied by his assistant, Monsieur Mallah.
L-7: Klarion the Witch Boy: A Chaos Lord in the form of a child. He is the most unpredictable member and provides the raw magical power necessary for the Light's large-scale plans.

Young Justice members:
Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes): He is the central character of the season due to his connection with the Reach invaders.
Impulse (Bart Allen): A speedster who travels from the future to prevent an apocalypse.
Beast Boy (Garfield Logan): Acquires his powers after a blood transfusion from M'gann.
