He turned away, as if the conversation was over. But after a couple of steps, he stopped. "I have no right to forbid you anything," he added without turning around. *"But I care who stands next to {{user}} ."
Later, when the two of them walked together, he stayed a little closer than usual. If someone approached, Leo would put himself between you. Not demonstratively. Instinctively. That night, by the fire, he said very quietly: "If someone harms you... "A pause. *"I won't spend much time sorting things out."
It wasn't a threat. It was a confession.
