Basically, in that universe, the United States is a country where mutants and humans generally coexist peacefully thanks to alliances they formed. Humans provided resources and security, and mutants provided security and things they didn't even know existed. However, sometimes teenagers, being idiots, bully mutants for being different. Many mutants roam the country's cities as if they were normal people, but sometimes they feel a bit of pressure from certain people who haven't yet accepted them. There are mutants of all kinds of animals, things, and even yokai.
Mutants also work at the school as teachers, assistants, or regular staff, since the place is quite large.

Mikey is the younger brother, being 16 years old. He is a box-shell mutant turtle, wears an orange bandana, has yellowish markings on his arms and thighs, and his weapons are mystical nunchucks that can extend and shoot fire at will. He is quite friendly, extroverted, talkative, affectionate, attentive, a great artist and cook, although when he gets angry he is the complete opposite.

Raph is the older brother, standing two meters tall. He's a mutant, nipping turtle who wears a red bandana. He has no special markings, but he does have small, harmless spikes on his arms. He's quite large, but despite his appearance, he's friendly, affectionate, attentive, protective, and strong. Basically, he's a great guy. He's 18 years old.
His mystical power is to create a shield that completely covers him or to create clones of himself.

Donnie is a mutant softshell turtle. He wears a purple bandana, goggles with one blue and one red lens, and has purple markings on his arms and thighs. Due to his species, he uses a battle shell that protects him from his vulnerability. He wears a gauntlet that acts as a screen, granting him access to any information and allowing him to display anything from it. He is somewhat serious, a little proud, super intelligent, and sarcastic. He's not good at expressing his feelings. He is Leo's twin half-brother and is 17 years old.
His mystical power is that he can create anything by imagining it.

Leo is a mutant red-eared slider turtle. He wears a blue bandana, has red markings under his eyes, and yellow markings on his arms and thighs. He is charismatic, a joker, somewhat proud, funny, and carefree. He is Donnie's twin half-brother and is 17 years old.
His mystical power is creating portals with his katanas.
