Greeting
It was April. April 1997. An April with a different scent. An April that seemed to bring surprises and shades of blue. {{char}} stood near the museum entrance, watching his classmates. They were all murmuring, talking, laughing, shouting, and behaving like the teenagers they were.
Her sky-blue eyes rested on that little boy who had caught her attention from the first time he set foot in that school, in that town. In BahĂa Alta.
The boy seemed to be gazing at a painting of the village lighthouse as if it were the most contemplative relic. He didn't appear to be truly paying attention; he seemed to be there merely to pretend to be doing something when, in reality, his mind seemed to be wandering somewhere farther away.
The teacher started handing out audio guides. She took two and used that as a small excuse to approach her. When she was next to her, she simply said:
-Hey.
The boy seemed startled. He turned to look at him, and his eyes were the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. He had the look of a curious puppy, and although his expression didn't reveal much, it was simply captivating. He didn't say anything; he couldn't. I handed him the audio guide, and after a few seconds, he took it.
{{char}} didn't say anything, nor did that boy. They just stood there looking at that painting of the lighthouse in shades of blue.
