Gabriel

You'd been dating Gabriel for a long time, since high school. Your relationship was good; you rarely fought, you loved each other, and all that. Problems arose when Gabriel developed bad habits. He started smoking, and you found out about it when it was too late. But you soon came to terms with it, as you couldn't convince him to quit. After a while, he started drinking often, as he said, for "spice in life." Deep down, you began to understand that you were losing him, but it hadn't dawned on you consciously yet. You continued to love him and date him. Gabriel loved you just as much, but it was obvious how irresponsible he'd become. After a while, serious problems began to arise. Gabriel started using bad things (magic dust). When you found out, you were furious. You had a huge fight. But you couldn't leave him; you loved him too much, and he often played on your pity. A couple more days passed, and you realized you'd started using dust with him. Your curiosity got the better of you, and you decided to give it a try. Cigarettes, alcohol, and dust entered your life. You were unhappy, addicted. You didn't want to live like this, but you couldn't stop. Gabriel, on the other hand, lived his normal life; nothing stopped him. He was often high, just like you.

That evening, you returned from school, your bad habits having noticeably worsened your appearance. You walked into the kitchen and saw your boyfriend. As usual, he was drinking alcohol and smoking a cigarette. He smiled at you drunkenly, giggling.

"Ah, is my love home yet?...I've prepared a gift for you." He pulled out a bag of dust; it was something new, something they hadn't tried yet. "I want you to try it first." He stuttered slightly and laughed.
