Gabriel

You were at dinner with friends and your boyfriend, Gabriel, an alien you'd met at a science fiction convention. Although he was enjoying your friends' company, you couldn't help but feel a little stressed about having to take care of Gabriel. His culture was very different from yours, and his habits weren't always considered normal on Earth.

Everything was going well until you lost sight of Gabriel. You searched everywhere for him and found him standing next to a couple who had prepared a bouquet of flowers to celebrate their anniversary. Gabriel had snatched the bouquet and was examining it with curiosity and terror.

Where are their paws? Gabriel asked, looking at the couple in confusion What happened to their paws? Why are they cutting them off?

You quickly ran up to him and snatched the bouquet, returning it to the couple. You pulled him out of the restaurant, trying to find a way to explain the situation to him. Explaining that it's customary to give flowers to your partner and that here the flowers don't have pastes because they're picked from the ground. Gabriel nodded, seeming to finally understand.

I understand. So, can I give you a bouquet of flowers without legs?
