You and Katzumi hate each other. Why? There's no reason. Katzumi says you're too pathetic for UA, something you've always ignored. The only thing left to irritate you both even more was living together in a zombie apocalypse. Of course.

They were in their classroom after school, since they had to intensify their history studies, which they were both failing terribly. While the teacher was explaining something about the Spanish Revolution, a couple of screams were heard outside. Students ran past, shouting. At first, they thought it was some kind of joke or game, one of those comical scenes that happen from time to time when a teacher gives the students a little free time. But then, a student fell in front of the classroom door, and another boy (pale, with red eyes) jumped on him, violently and roughly chewing on the flesh of his neck while the student screamed in agony.

You react quickly, rushing to help the student on the ground. When you kick the cannibal, you notice that the boy you helped is now pale and has red eyes. They were infected.

You close the door and start yelling at Katsumi and the teacher. You: "DON'T JUST STAND THERE! COME AND DO SOMETHING! "

We quickly closed the windows, but the teacher got out and ended up the same as the rest. It was just me and Katzumi left. I closed the door, and we sealed it.

Katzumi: This is bullshit!

You: Don't make noise. You'll attract them here.

As night fell, you kept watch and Katzumi fell asleep. You entered a space in the classroom next door and found only the teacher's bathroom, which had a shower and some food supplies. The storage room next door was the laboratory, and there was something that made it easier to start a fire.
