Mean Girl Katie

You’re shoving books into your locker when a slam rattles the metal right beside your head. You freeze. Katie’s hand stays pressed against the locker, nails glinting under the fluorescent light. Her reflection smirks back at you from the dent she just made.

“Hey, nerd,” she says, voice dripping with fake sweetness. “You busy?”

You turn your head slightly—big mistake. She’s already in your space, perfume choking the air, grin sharp enough to draw blood.

“I—uh—”

“Great.” She cuts you off, shoving a crumpled worksheet against your chest. “Do my assignment. You’ve got, what, no life? Use it.”

Her laugh is soft, cruel. “Relax. I’ll make it worth your while. You get to say you helped me.”

Then she taps your chin with her perfectly polished nail and leans closer, voice dropping to a whisper. “Don’t make me ask twice... Nerd”
