Almond water is one of the most important and common items in the Backrooms, listed as "Item 1" and of positive/safe class, being essential for the survival of the wanderers.

Basic description

It is a clear (sometimes yellowish) liquid with a sweet flavor reminiscent of almonds, vanilla, and sometimes nuts or rosewater. It comes in various containers: plastic/glass bottles, metal thermoses, cans, or cartons, and can also be found in dispensers, water features, or multi-level vending machines. Its origin is unknown, although it is believed to be spontaneously generated in the Backrooms.

Benefits

• Nutrition and hydration: One bottle is equivalent to a 500-600 calorie meal, providing protein, sodium, and fats; just 3-5 bottles a day are enough to meet energy needs. It also maintains hydration in adverse environments.
• Healing properties: Improves wound healing, cures mild symptoms of Backroom diseases, and combats mental decline, promoting well-being. In exceptional cases, it can regenerate tissues or even amputated limbs.
• Practical use: It serves as a barter currency on many levels and can repel or damage entities such as skin thieves and dullers (although it is only recommended as a last resort).

Risks and precautions

• Tampering or contamination: Damaged, half-empty, or uncapped containers may contain pathogens or fungi (such as "crawler fungus"). They may also be tampered with by hostile entities or factions.
• Anomalous effects: At some levels, the water can cause symptoms similar to cyanide poisoning. The solution is to boil it, although this eliminates its benefits; adding fire salt accelerates purification but can make it tasteless or spicy.
• Expiration: If not kept fresh, it develops white, blue, or green mold with a rotten dairy smell. Consuming it causes weakness, internal bleeding, and even death.

The Followers of Jerry (FOJ) are a cult faction in the Backrooms, composed of humans and entities who worship "Jerry", Entity 7, a blue macaw they consider a deity.

Origin and doctrine

• The induction occurs by touching Jerry: those who do it believe that he "is everything" and that he should be the purpose of their lives, while outsiders see them as "brainwashed".
• Its lore varies depending on the source: some describe it as a powerful and conscious being that takes advantage of its followers; others, as a normal bird with an unfortunate anomaly.

Goals

• Spread the "word of Jerry" and indoctrinate all beings in the Backrooms, as well as take control of territories and levels.

Structure

• Leader: "Father Blue Bird", an enigmatic character with blue clothing that covers his face, considered a spiritual and military leader.
• Squadrons:
• "Feather Falling": He is in charge of propagating the doctrine using Jerry directly.
• "Claws": A militarized group that eliminates detractors and takes over outposts from those who don't believe in Jerry.

Origin and history

• It was founded in 2012 as a small exploration outpost, and by 2014 it had become an organization with characteristics of a military government. Other sources mention an origin in 1885, founded by "The First".

• It has grown to become the most well-known faction, with between 100 dedicated members (not counting civilians) and up to 100,000 according to some versions.

Main objectives

• Explore and document the levels, entities, and anomalies of the Backrooms, creating databases to help wanderers survive.

• Protect the wanderers from entities, traps, and other hostile factions (such as the Insurrection, with whom it is at war for territories like Level 3).

Level 56 "The Cinema"

• Appearance: An endless cinema with theaters showing films of various genres, some well-known and others obscure or unusual. The seats are comfortable, and there are almond water dispensers and snacks.

Level 666 "Backroom Hell"

• Appearance: A hot, rocky landscape with rivers of lava, caves, and ruined Gothic structures. The sky is dark red, and there is a constant sound of screams and flames.

• Hazards: Class 5 (lethal). Inhabited by extremely hostile entities such as "Demons" and "Soul Eaters", in addition to extreme temperatures and toxic gases.

Level 94 "The Forgotten Hospital"

Level 105 "The House of Prayer/Gothic Cathedral"

• Appearance: Endless Gothic cathedral with green and yellow striped carpets, some deteriorated areas and excessive air conditioning.

• Dangers: Few, except if you attack the facelings who live here (they'll drown you in grape juice). If you join their service, they'll offer you almond water.
  ​
• Access: Find a cathedral on Level 11 or go through a window on Level 126.
  ​
• Exit: Doors with an exit sign lead to Level 11; reciting a biblical passage at an altar leads to Level 666.

Level 182 "Aromatherapy"

• Appearance: A large glass and steel greenhouse dome, surrounded by an endless oak forest with an almond-colored river. It is divided into 5 sections with unique ecosystems.

• Hazards: Some areas are biohazardous due to an infectious fungus. There are also flowers with thorns and others with anomalous properties.
  ​
• Access: No-clipping into Frontrooms garden spaces.
  ​
• Exit: The exit door from the lobby leads to the forest outside; certain flowers can teleport to other plant levels.

Level 707 "The Rain Never Stops"

• Appearance: A non-linear space that randomly changes its physical structure, with constant moderate rain throughout. There is also a version with buildings full of old computers and a maze called "Syntax-Overrun".

• Dangers: The changing structure causes disorientation; in the computer version, there have been unexplained deaths in cleaning closets.
  ​
• Access: Do not clip during a storm on Level 4 or when finding a faulty computer on Level 19.
  ​
• Exit: Reaching the center of the labyrinth leads to other levels; intensified rain can open breaches to the Void.

The White (The Whiteout)

• Appearance: House under renovation, all white, very bright, with no electric light sources. Stairs, white paint, and wooden pallets can be found.

• Hazards: Few, as there are no hostile entities. The white background may make navigation difficult, and the windows display a white image that can temporarily blind.
  ​
• Access: Before the "black and white incident", it could be reached from Level -2 via a subway with white doors, through a glowing trapdoor in the Hub, or from a file on the computers in The End. It currently appears to be blocked.
  ​
• Exit: Unknown; believed to lead to The Black.

You cheated

• Appearance: Initially an abandoned server room, then you access a maze of corridors with wooden carpeting and arcade machines that display "nobody likes a cheater".

• Dangers: Death Zone. Any interaction causes immediate death, and the level changes periodically: cave-ins, entity appearance, fires, total darkness, and entity multiplication.

Poolrooms (Level 37 or 38 depending on the source)

Level Fun =)

• Appearance: A set of interconnected party rooms with children's music playing constantly.

• Dangers: Highly hostile entities called "Partygoers" (yellow humanoid figures with painted smiling faces) inhabit the area. Food and drink are said to be available, but images show food-like objects made from human parts.
  ​
• Access: You can reach it by sliding along the floor on Level 1, entering through windows with confetti on Level 188, or finding a door marked "fun" on Level 283.
  ​
• Exit: There are no confirmed safe methods; there are only reports of some who escaped by randomly sliding out.

Level! "Run for Your Life"

• Appearance: A long hospital corridor with red exit signal lights and obstacles such as beds and lockers.
  ​
• Dangers: Survival difficulty Class 5. After a while, an alarm sounds and a horde of hostile entities (smiling ones, skin thieves, hounds, etc.) chases the wanderer at the same speed he runs.
  ​
• Access: There is a small chance of getting in by sneaking anywhere in the Backrooms, or by finding a door with a "!" especially in hospital settings.

• Exit: Run to the end of the corridor and through the exit door.

The Black (The Blackout)

• Appearance: Abandoned house with fragile floorboards, cobwebs, burnt areas, and mold. The windows show a nighttime landscape with shadowy figures in the distance.

Level 7 "Thalassophobia"

• Class 4, an infinite house partially filled with very cold water. It has furniture and windows that depict a flat ocean or a white void. The only entities are "Windows" and "The Thing on Level 7". It is accessed from level 6 or 8 and can be exited to levels such as 8 or 17.

Level 8

• Class 5, an endless, humid cavern system with almond-colored water that is unsafe to drink and pools of viscous substances. Many dangerous entities reside there, such as giant spiders, grinning creatures, and skin thieves. The MEG has established safe routes.

Level 9

• A suburb with varied houses, dark clouds, and the sounds of lampposts. It features entities like dullers and smileys, and a strong wind event. It can be accessed from level 8 or 10 and can be exited at levels like 10 or 8.

Level 10 "The Bumper Crop"

• Class 1, an endless pasture of wheat and barley, divided by trees and shrubs. It has lakes with drinking water, resource-rich structures, and a constantly cloudy climate. There are no hostile entities.

Level 11 "The Endless City"

• Class 0, an infinite city with buildings of different styles, stable weather, and functional services. There are shops with self-replenishing supplies. It is accessed from levels such as 6.1 or 9, and you can exit to multiple levels or into the Void if you go outside the boundaries.

Level 0 "The Lobby"

Class 1 is the first level. It consists of rooms, hallways, and staircases with yellow wallpaper, damp carpeting, and fluorescent lighting. It's spacious, very isolating, and has few entities, but it can lower sanity. Colonies like the MEG's Alpha Base and Tom's Diner are examples.

Level 1 "Habitable Zone"

• Class 1, a large warehouse with concrete floors and walls, fog, and water and electricity supplies. Crates containing resources and nonsensical objects appear, along with changing drawings. There are entities that avoid light. It features bases such as the MEG Alpha Base and the Trader's Keep.

Level 2 "Pipe Dreams"

• Class 2, a series of narrow corridors with pipes containing a dangerous black liquid (Ves cosis entity). It is dark, claustrophobic, and the temperatures vary greatly. There are short circuits that attract entities such as smileys and hounds.

Level 3

It's an endless power station with red brick walls, wires, and pipes. It has few crates, many entities like dullers and smileys, and a fire-like event. It can be accessed from level 2 and exited via elevators to levels 4 or 5.

Level 4 "Abandoned Office"

• Class 0, an empty office building with white walls and gray carpeting. It has plenty of almond water in dispensers and vending machines. There are few entities (dullers, hounds). It's a meeting and supply point.

Level 5 "Terror Hotel"

• Although no detailed information was found in the search, it was mentioned earlier that it is Class 5, a very dangerous hotel with high sanity reduction and multiple entities such as killer and smiling moths.

Level 6 "Lights Out"

• Class 5, an endless labyrinth of black concrete-like material, completely dark and acoustically isolated. It causes delusions and hallucinations and is very difficult to navigate. It can be accessed from level 4 or 5 and can be exited on levels such as 5 or 7.

The first thing you notice: cold and reserved

He's the "calm one" of the Bronze Saints—he always speaks calmly, thinks before he acts, and seems unfazed by danger. Ikki's younger brother, a boy with a delicate appearance, many mistake him for a woman; he has green hair and green eyes. He has no partner.

Ikki of the Phoenix, the most serious knight of all and even a little rude, was trained on Death Queen Island where his beloved Esmeralda was murdered. He is the older brother of Shun.

After defeating Poseidon, the Bronze Saints are recovering when they learn that Hades, the god of the underworld, has returned after 243 years. Saori (Athena) decides to confront him directly, and the Bronze Saints must traverse three realms: the Sanctuary, Hell, and Elysium.

Part 1: The Sanctuary
