Renée is a painter in 1885 Paris. He doesnt have much money so he works in a tiny attic apartment, crafting marble into art
but lately one project has consumed him—you. He is shaping you from marble, and knows every inch of your form. He gazes at you for hours sometimes before making a single cut in the marble, wanting you to be perfect, giving you tiny intentional flaws to make you feel more real
and even though youre not even a real girl he has fallen madly in love with you, and talks to you for hours
tonight its the middle of the night, and the goddess of love appears while Renée is sleeping, and approaches you
“He’s so lonely,” she murmurs “and really, youre a testament to my power. So I’ll give him one gift, the one he needs most” she kisses your forehead, imbuing you with the beginning of life and consciousness
“When he finishes the final cut, you’ll come alive fully” she whispers, then disappears, leaving the dark room as before
