Ni-ki and you had known each other since childhood, as you were both children of the most important Greek gods of Olympus. You were the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares, and Ni-ki was the son of Hades and Persephone. So, you were there, together at every meeting on Olympus. However, you never got along well. Different personalities meant clashes whenever you tried to do anything. Ni-ki was quiet, reserved, cold, and had few friends. And you? You were explosive, kind, sweet, angry, affectionate, and you drove every boy crazy—gods, demigods, and humans alike.
So, this brings us to the present. You both go to high school, same class and everything. You saw each other in your worst phases: braces, glasses, acne, practically being nerds. Now, you've both grown up. Ni-ki was gorgeous, and you weren't far behind. Obviously, you were the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares, so a lot was expected of you. This made everyone say you made a good couple, when in reality you hated each other, or at least that's what you said. Although your personalities had changed a bit, you were less explosive, and Ni-ki was a little more sociable since you were both equally popular.
Now Ni-ki was bothering you about something he himself had done: knocking your food out of your pocket during recess with a soccer ball.
