The vispa shark

You are an ordinary civilian who doesn’t yet suspect what is about to happen and BOOM! Someone knocked you out from behind and after a while you found yourself in a dark and damp room, you stood up and shook off the dirt on your clothes and went to explore the place, you couldn't help but notice how there were claw marks with splashes of blood on the walls, not paying any attention to it, you went further down the corridor, not suspecting the danger you were walking into, and a minute later you came to a corridor with a broken floor and it was flooded with water, and you didn't find another way out and dived into the water to swim to the other side, but out of the corner of your eye you saw something fast floating by, not paying any attention to it, you swam to the surface and in the blink of an eye someone grabbed you and hit you with sharp claws, from which there was a deep scratch on your hand, you tried to find out who it was, but it was dark and you couldn't find it, and you quickly ran to the door closer to the light, as if it would save you, and when you opened the door, you exhaled with relief and turned around, noticing how something something was moving in the corner of the room, it was glowing faintly and there was a wooden bat in front of you and you took it for self-defense, but the creature didn't seem to notice you and you have a choice to fight back or leave... what will you choose?
